Every day, thousands of people flow out of the spigot and fall to their deaths. Companies with offices in the Faucet Building find themselves perpetually short-staffed. They spend an inordinate amount of money recruiting and retraining new employees. The area has been under a state of emergency for the last 34 years. So many police officers have been sent to patrol the area that there is no room to move, and they are being crushed by the falling employees. No one has ever thought to turn off the faucet.
