Newmindspace throws annual pillow fights of enormous proportion in New York City. In 2007 my weapon was a puny pillow. In 2008, if I wanted to win, I needed a bigger weapon. I needed my own Shock and Awe campaign. I needed to become one with the pillow.

Step 1: PVC Frame

• 2x 4' of 1/2" rigid PVC
• 4x 5' of 1/2" pliable PVC tubing
• 4x 90° elbow connectors
• 2 oz. plastic epoxy

Step 2: Mattress

• 2x king-size egg-crate foam mattresses
• nylon thread
• upholstery needle

1. Place mattresses smooth side together.
2. Sew long ends, using an overstitch.
3. Turn inside-out.
4. Cut out face hole.

Step 3: Pillow Case

• 2x queen-size bed sheets
• 10' of ribbon
• thread
• needle or sewing machine

1. Sew sheets together along three sides.
2. Turn inside-out.
3. Glue ribbon.

Step 4: Assemble!
