Jason Eppink's Catalogue of Creative Triumphs

Actual rocket scientist Jenna Eppink and I strapped sandwiches to rockets and launched them into the air to test the theory that it would make the sandwiches taste better. After each launch, six anonymous volunteers participated in a blind taste test to compare the post-flight sandwich to the control (pre-flight) sandwich. The results are as follows:

Turkey, cheese, and tomato sandwich:
preferred pre-flight: 4
preferred post-flight: 2

Peanut butter and jelly sandwich:
preferred pre-flight: 3
preferred post-flight: 3

Grilled cheese:
preferred pre-flight: 6
preferred post-flight: 0

Results are inconclusive. More studies are required.
