Welcome to MONOPLAYA!

The orientation of Monopolaya is the community space fronting the "avenue" and the camp of 8 tents immediately behind. The vehicles will be place in a "wall" like fashion to reduce wind and will form an L and ideally be as shown in the plan drawing at the rear. Storage for bikes, and non edible items will be behind or near the community structure or within Jail.

Each "title deed" is a camp tent with 1 or two burners within. The full game and its associated projects are in development but will incorporate the board=playa concept as well as function as a place to actually play the board game.

Power, ideally a small solar array, will be needed for minimal equpment and primarily for food storage, lighting and equipment related to our art installations.

The community shelter is conceived as a simple leanto of bamboo, heavily anchored, joined with twine or an appropriate type of rope that will also be burnable. The tarps may be partially burnable and is in development.

The frontage on Coral Reef, Desert of Estuary is to be understood as a porch, an icon in correlation to this year's theme. As is the game of Monopoly.
